EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

 

Program Objective: The Emotional Intelligence Program is designed to equip Supervisors/Managers/Leaders with an understanding of emotional intelligence and its importance in the role of a supervisor/manager. Leading a team and managing performance to deliver results  is often a challenge for supervisors/managers, especially recently promoted ones. It is an essential requirement for every supervisor/ manager, irrespective of the industry, to understand emotional intelligence and its importance in understanding  oneself  and  others,  and building healthy relationships. This program will provide the basic skills and techniques for participants  to apply emotional intelligence in their daily lives, which in turn will benefit  them in effectively leading teams to achieve set goals.

This program will provide an understanding of the science of emotional intelligence and its importance in supervisor/manager roles. Participants will  get an opportunity to understand and manage their emotions and those of the people around them, thus enhancing interpersonal relationships and social skills.

  • Existing Managers/Supervisors Leaders operating in  any industry/sector.

  • Newly promoted managers or  lower level employees with managerial or team leadership responsibilities. 

  • Any employees considered as high potential and candidates for future supervisory or managerial roles.

  • Learning to implement emotional intelligence in the workplace through case studies 

  • Understanding workplace stress and its impact

  • Practicing emotional intelligence to beat stress

Learning Methods 

The program is designed to be highly interactive and participative. All participants will be required to work in team exercises and case studies during the one-day program. Each module is supported by trainer inputs on key concepts, practicing the concepts with individual/ team exercises, group discussions, training activities and videos on relevant topics. Participants will have  opportunities to demonstrate their learnings through activities on various platforms. Each participant will receive a self-learning workbook to track their learnings and to use as future reference.
